UPDATE, 6/8/13:
Hi everyone! I uploaded all of the pictures I have on my phone (finally!)! I don't know why some are so small...I will see if I can fix it.
I went to the foot doctor on Wednesday, and she said my bones are starting to heal a little (did you know bones take at LEAST 6 weeks to start being strong again after they break??). I will be able to walk a little bit by July 4!
Hope you all are having a great summer break still!

Hi sweet almost-3rd-graders! I hope your summers are going great. Thank you, Ana, Jose, Karla, and Jenifer for your sweet comments on my last blog entry.
I am STILL working on getting all of our end of the year pictures loaded on to this website! But guess what? I broke my foot after everyone left on the buses last Wednesday! It's my left foot--I was doing something that wasn't very smart or safe and I slipped. My ankle twisted and I landed on the top part of my foot, right around my little toe. My fifth metatarsal is fractured, and my doctor told me I can't walk on it at all for about 6 weeks! I am getting really good at using crutches and hopping around. On the happy side, I am going to get to read a LOT of books over the next 6 weeks! If we were still in school, I would have a contest with you to see who can read the most books in the next 6 weeks ( we still can, if you want to--in the comments section, tell me how many books you've read by the end of June!).
Mr. Rollins is on his annual fishing trip and he took his USB cord with him...AGAIN. My foot was hurting me a lot, so I was laying in bed for the last several days. It feels a lot better now, but my bone has to grow back. As soon as Mr. Rollins gets back next week, I will make him give me the cord and I will put the pictures up for you to see!
I miss your sweet faces!
Love,
Ms. Samson
